Championing Women in Sports
Throughout my time at CBS Sports, advocating for women's representation in sports became a key focus. Over the past four years, I’ve had the privilege of shining a spotlight on women athletes and breaking gender stereotypes in sports media.
Representation matters. By elevating the stories of Simone Biles, Nicole Lynn, Sandra Douglass Morgan, Caitlin Clark, Katie Ledecky, and Dawn Staley, I’ve helped ensure their achievements receive the recognition they deserve. These powerful women exemplify strength, resilience, and success, messages that not only challenge societal norms but also inspire the next generation of girls to pursue their athletic dreams without limits.
Through social media strategies and content curation, I’ve played a key role in shaping the narrative around women’s sports, ensuring their stories are told with the same passion and accuracy as their male counterparts. From the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament to the Women’s World Cup, I’ve prioritized amplifying female athletes at all levels.
Visibility is crucial to changing public perception and fostering a more inclusive sports culture. By promoting women’s achievements, we contribute to a more balanced portrayal of sports, where every athlete has the opportunity to shine. I remain committed to advancing equal representation and celebrating the trailblazing women paving the way for future generations.
